Between June 3 and June 7, 2026, Bucharest hosts the fourth edition of MoBU – International Art Fair of Bucharest, taking place at Romexpo, Central Pavilion.

MoBU brings together approximately 52 galleries and over 200 artists from 15 countries, creating a complex exhibition and meeting space for artists, curators, collectors, and the general public, with a focus on painting, sculpture, installation, video art, and emerging contemporary artistic practices.

Fair schedule

The public is invited to visit the fair over five days, according to the following schedule:

June 3: 15:00 – 20:00
June 4–5: 12:00 – 20:00
June 6: 10:00 – 20:00
June 7: 10:00 – 18:00

Admission is free, and the program is complemented by a series of side events dedicated to dialogue between art, the market, and contemporary society.

Curatorial program: conferences, round tables and performances

In addition to the exhibition component, MoBU develops an extensive program of talks, conferences, and round tables addressing topics such as the economics of art, the relationship between artists and collectors, institutional policies, and new directions in contemporary artistic practices.

Among the recurring events are debates moderated by art historian and curator Horea Avram, bringing together artists, galleries, and art market professionals to discuss the mechanisms of visibility and circulation in contemporary art.

Guided tours with Horea Avram

One of the key elements of the program is the series of guided tours of the fair, led by Horea Avram, offering visitors a contextualized perspective on the participating galleries, artistic projects, and aesthetic directions present at MoBU, transforming the visit into a structured journey of critical interpretation and dialogue on contemporary art.
