Mission

Empower Art & Artists supports and promotes artists and specialists in visual arts by carrying out activities, programs, and events that highlight the artistic potential of Romania, simultaneously aiming to facilitate access to contemporary art for a large audience.

Goals

Build bridges between artists, viewers, and contemporary art that can be perceived at first as inaccessible;
Reveal the dynamics and effervescence of the Romanian art scene;
Promote the most relevant artistic manifestations of visual arts.
Motivate the general public to actively participate in openings, exhibitions, and art fairs;
Encourage the public to collect contemporary art;
Facilitate the interaction between the audience and the artistic community;
Award artists, curators, gallery owners, cultural managers, and specialists in visual arts who constantly contribute to the development of the Romanian art scene;
Collaborate with cultural and educational institutions, art galleries, and important organizations in the field of visual arts;
Organize projects, conferences, artist talks, performances, residences, and art exhibitions that bring together artists, specialists in the field, and the audience interested in art;
Activate worldwide.

Magazine

Empower magazine explores the artistic manifestations of the Romanian art scene. The publication approaches the contemporary artistic phenomenon from four perspectives materialized in four distinct sections that form the structure of the magazine.

The first section, under the sign of Inspiration, reveals the main actors in the Romanian art scene, from artists, art historians, and curators to cultural managers, gallery owners, and collectors. Experiences offer a quality selection of fresh art news from all over the world. Artists in Action focuses on artists and the studio.
The Art Guide section is dedicated to young artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts who will have access to articles that will guide them in their artistic careers or in building an art collection.
Spaces map the art spaces of the most important artistic centers in the country: Bucharest, Cluj, Timisoara, and Iasi.

The most appreciated reviews, interviews, and texts about artistic events in Romania will be published in print at the end of each year.
