“Wander in a Forest of Possibilities”. Sergiu CHIHAIA exploring the fragility of the balance between human intervention and nature

E T A J artist-run space presents the exhibition “Wander in a Forest of Possibilities”/ Rătăciți într-o Lume de Posibilități”, a solo show signed by the artist Sergiu Chihaia.

“Coming from a process of continuous introspection, the exhibition “Wander in a Forest of Possibilities” attests to the continuation of a new stage in the artist Sergiu Chihaia’s process. Adapting elements already known to the public with their first appearance in “The Sublime of the Feedback Loop,” the artist proposes a new challenge to illustrate the entanglements of our contemporary lives. Each work in the exhibition thus proposes a new way of understanding the ramifications in contemporary society. The whole it forms also becomes the sculpted story of our patterns of interaction with all the natural elements surrounding us.

In “Wander in a Forest of Possibilities”, Chihaia proposes a careful exploration of the fragility of the balance between human intervention and nature. The exhibition thus becomes a space for meditating on how each tree branch, each natural element and each individual among us is responsible both for our own actions and for the repercussions of the whole of which we are a part, “alone and in multitude,” as we says Kuno Meyer.”
Teodora Roșu, curator of the exhibition
