The group exhibition HORA•URME•CERC group, hosted by ALERT Studio (Mircea Vulcănescu Street no. 2, Bucharest), presents a selection of works signed by 15 Romanian female artists: Andra Achim, Anca Coller, Ana Chiorean, Anca Vintila Dragu, Cristina Iacob, Cătălina Codreanu, Cuzina, Elena Andrei, Elena Ilash, Ioana Alecu, Liliana Basarab, Lumi Mihai, Maia Ștefana Oprea, Raluca Ilaria Demetrescu, and Patricia Teodorescu.

“On the evening of Sânziene, on June 24, we gather to play again the chorus proposed by Raluca Ilaria Demetrescu four years ago – We are called Iele. It’s a singular word.

Ielele have given rise to many stories, some of them more fantastic and more contradictory, but only one conclusion remains “clear”: it is not good to see them, it is not good not to see them, it is not good to see them and pretend you didn’t see them…”
