Dead Earth, A Place of No Escape – Rachel Monosov

/SAC in collaboration with Catinca Tabacaru presents a sculptural installation activated by performative interventions choreographed by artist Rachel Monosov, which raises questions about power structures, the meaning of freedom and space in relation to movement, focusing on the relationship between body action and stillness.
Dead Earth, A Place of No Escape will be will be performed live on Sat. Feb. 10, at 18:00 and 20:00.

DIPTYCH – Articulating Boundaries

The exhibition Articulating Boundaries proposes a foray into the complexity of human intimacy, revealing and dissecting the boundaries constructed and demolished in our relationship to the inner and outer worlds. Curated by Irina Motroc, the duo exhibition focuses on the segmentation and reassembly of personal experiences and challenges viewers to become voyeurs and explore worlds through the transparent window of the works on display.

SUPRAINFINIT – SEQUENCE#20: Unreal Estate – Large-scale installation on display in the gallery’s vitrine space.

SEQUENCE #20 reimagines the Unreal Estate group exhibition, which took place in an apartment under renovation in a 19th century building in Bucharest, for the vitrine space at Suprainfinit and, with it, the format of a contemporary art salon in an apartment building as a concrete meeting space between guests and residents.
