Foundation Triade is pleased to invite you on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 3:00 PM, to the park in front of Shopping City Timișoara (Calea Șagului 100), for the opening of the exhibition featuring the artists nominated for the “Peter Jecza” Sculpture of the Year Award – 2nd Edition.
The nominated artists are: Virgil Scripcariu, Marius Rițiu, Lucia Ghegu, Mihai Iepure-Gorski, Emanuel Matei, Ovidiu Toader, Florin Magda, Zoltan Kovacs, Ștefan Radu Crețu, Tudor Ciurescu, and Ana-Suzana Ionescu.
The exhibition brings together the works of eleven artists selected by a jury composed of Celia Ghyka, Andrei Petru Jecza, Ana-Maria Mihăescu, Aurelia Mocanu, Ciprian Mureșan, Bogdan Rața, and Maria Rus-Bojan.
The artists’ works will be displayed in the public space for one year. The opening will be followed by an informal gathering and discussions with the participating artists.It is part of the Jecza Foundation Days — a series of events marking the transition of the Foundation Interart Triade to its new identity: the Jecza Foundation.
On Friday, October 31, in Unirii Square, the Peter Jecza Award for Sculpture of the Year 2025 and the inauguration of the winning work – “Together” by Vlad Nancă will take place.
The Peter Jecza Sculpture of the Year Award is an initiative of the Foundation Triade and UniCredit Bank, with partners NEPI Rockcastle, Shopping City Timișoara, and the Castel Salbek Association.
