People You’ve Been Before. Solo Show Lea Rasovszky

People You’ve Been Before, the exhibition of the artist Lea Rasovszky opened at the Mobius Gallery “glimpses into the intricate dynamics of human connections, revealing a profound intimacy that unfolds only through vulnerability and empathy. Lea Rasovszky explores this closeness through various mediums—objects, vintage photographs, and poignant artefacts. These relics serve as windows into the past, offering glimpses of lives lived and relationships forged, evoking a sense of belonging that surpasses time and space.

The artist engages with these remnants of bygone eras similar to an anthropologist, untwisting the narratives woven within each artefact and contemplating the intricate tapestry of human experience. It’s like exploring an old photo album, with people you’ve never met before, unfamiliar faces, yet able to grasp their essence, as you look with a gentle, genuine curiosity. Even if you may never meet these individuals, their stories resonate deeply, inviting you to see the essence of human connection in its purest form.” (excerpt from the curatorial text)

The exhibition is open until June 15, 2024. Visiting schedule: Wednesday – Saturday 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The entry is free.
