The Gallery of the National Technical Museum “Prof. ing. Dimitrie Leonida” from Bucharest, hosts the personal exhibition “EXODUS/EXOD” of the visual artist Eugenoru, curated by Laura-Maria Albani.

“The EXOD exhibition, the RAPORTORU brand, surprises us again and makes us think. Raportoru reports a true scenography of a possible and real troubling story from the current geopolitical and economic reality through a perfect artistic act, harmonizing the light and sound installation with the painting. In the face of imminent disasters, cataclysms, war, the desire to survive pushes us, like at the end of a Greek tragedy when the denouement represents the stage’s exit in the procession of the actors, at EXOD.” (fragment from the curatorial text)
Eugen Raportoru (b. 1961, Bucharest) is a Romanian visual artist, decorated in 2024 by the President of Romania Klaus Iohannis with the Order of “Cultural Merit” in the rank of Knight, Category C – “Plastic Arts”. A graduate of the National University of Art in Bucharest, Department of Painting (bachelor’s degree in 2009 and master’s degree in 2011), Eugen Raportoru has been a member of the Union of Visual Artists from Romania since 2010, receiving the prize for painting from it repeatedly. His exhibition activity is extensive and includes, in addition to an impressive number of solo and group exhibitions, participation in both local and international biennials, salons and art fairs.
