Art Safari Stars Edition: Art, Music and Design

Art Safari returns this autumn with a five-star edition: an exhibition of celestial music, the story of the night city, but also legendary bags worn by stars and superstars.
The new season takes place between September 29 and January 14, at the Dacia-Romania Palace.

Art Safari becomes for 3 months the only museum of music in the capital of Romania, through a multisensory exhibition that marks the 60th anniversary of the Madrigal Choir.

The story of the nocturnal city is told in the “Night Life” exhibition. From the fear of the dark, felt by mankind since the beginning of history, to the complete taming of fear through technology.

From the famous Royal Victoria & Albert Museum, London comes the exhibition “Bags: Inside Out”, with iconic bags that have written history: the famous “Baguette” Fendi worn by Sarah Jessica Parker in “Sex and the City”, the “Kelly” Hermès in honoring Grace Kelly, Princess Diana-inspired “Lady Dior” and Louis Vuitton’s famous “Monogram Mirror” model worn by Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian.

And the Love Stories exhibition, at the National Portrait Gallery, London, with masterpieces by Andy Warhol, Man Ray, or David Hockney, is being extended at the request of the public, and can be seen until October 1 inclusive. “And just like that… the Art Safari Love Edition didn’t end well either, it’s time for the Stars Edition! Nightlife, an exhibition curated by Adrian Majuru, director of the Bucharest City Museum, strategic partner of Art Safari, will surprise art lovers with the unknown stories of the nocturnal city. And the Madrigal will delight you with numerous stories told through multisensory experiences. Art Safari collaborates for the second time with the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, and brings to the public a design exhibition that will appeal to all fashion and lifestyle enthusiasts! ” – Ioana Ciocan, CEO Art Safari and commissioner of Romania at the Venice Art Biennale.
