Romanian Street Art unveiled two new multidisciplinary artistic interventions in Bucharest, combining visual and acoustic creativity. These artworks, co-created by Bulgarian artist Sunshiners (mural) and Cezar Lazăr (soundtrack), can be experienced in the public space for free at any time. Each Sunshiners mural includes a QR code that, when scanned, allows you to listen to the soundtrack composed by Cezar Lazăr. This collaboration is part of the Romanian Street Art project and invites you to explore Bucharest to discover these new co-productions that transform the urban landscape into a story with fictional characters and captivating sounds.
The murals can be seen on Mihai Bravu Road 75/83, bl. C17, sc. C and at Hotel Lagom – Maior Alexandru Campeanu 8A;
The work process was captured in a video that can be watched here. This is the third artistic intervention from the multi-annual Romanian Street Art program, after the work made in Iași by Pisica Pătrată and Harcea Pacea at Grădinița with extended program no. 25 and the multidisciplinary intervention by Delia Cîrstea and Kozo at Romexpo, in Bucharest.
In addition to artistic works in public spaces in the country, the Romanian Street Art program also includes a series of creative workshops with Pisica Pătrată, Serebe and Tobias Barenthin Lindblad [Dokument Press] promoting street art and non-formal cultural education, guided tours, a publication and an online map.
The multi-annual Romanian Street Art cultural program is produced by Save or Cancel (Cristina Popa, Andrei Racovițan) through feeder.ro and is co-financed by AFCN.
