“Tender Drawings about Love and Life” at Camera K’ARTE in Targu Mures

Camera K’ARTE hosts the personal exhibition of the artist Silvia Trăistaru “Tender Drawings about Love and Life.”

“Tender Drawings about Love and Life” is the title of a new series of works that tenderly approach issues of the mind and heart and reflect practices and approaches recently introduced in the artistic direction of Silvia Trăistaru. The results contain words or sentences with a personal meaning for the artist. Emotions or personal experiences are transposed by drawing in pencil and marker on paper. The resulting drawings have a therapeutic effect on the artist, delving into the complexity and influence of personal and transgenerational memories.

A selection from the series “Tender Drawings about Love and Life” was exhibited in June 2022 at the L I G H T studio space opening in Stuttgart. Another exhibition of the works took place this year during the second edition of Open Doors Atelierele Malmaison (in the artist’s studio at Malmaison – Room 30) and at the E T A J artist-run space.
