In honor of the centenary of the birth of one of Romania’s most profound and spiritual painters, Paul Gherasim (1925–2016), Romană Gallery presents the tribute exhibition, testifying to a rare form of friendship: the one that does not consume itself, but builds.

The three exhibiting artists: Constantin Flondor, Horea Paștina and Mihai Sârbulescu come together in the halls of the Roman Gallery in a living testimony of a friendship that continues beyond time, a plea for the truth of art and for the beauty that does not shout, but waits to be discovered. An act of gratitude brought not just to a man, but to an entire vision of the world: profound, luminous, humble.

This exhibition is both a tribute and a continuation of the profound vision of the artist Paul Gherasim – a painter and thinker whose life and work were in constant dialogue with light, silence and the sacred dimension of existence.
