“Keyframes” is a collaboration between Mirare Gallery, a multisensory contemporary art gallery, and Alura, a Romanian footwear brand. The event aimed to become a meeting point between art as a form of expression, a commercial good, a commodity or a fleeting feeling.
The audience was invited to admire graphic works by Rareș Bartoș, ceramic objects by VictoriaFinală and an olfactory installation created by Ana Preduș x VictoriaFinală, integrated among handcrafted shoes.
“In animation and cinematography, a keyframe is a drawing or frame that defines the starting and ending points of a fluid transition. In our social life, we do not witness the fluid transitions of thoughts through the body and hands, but are confronted with the final, carefully cleaned version. A selfie, a posture, an over-polished object, a perfume.
The exhibition honestly explores the human need to present the best version of ourselves, our improved image, and invites the public’s gaze to take on the story and identity of each object.” (excerpt from the curatorial text)
The exhibition was on display from June 18 to June 26 at Alura showroom (Constantin Mille Street, 18, Bucharest).
