At Galateea Contemporary Art, the exhibition of ceramic artist Gavril Zmicală, “Pedestal for Thoughts/ Soclu pentru gânduri”, curated by Cristina Popescu Russu, will open on Thursday, March 20, starting at 6:00 PM.

„I present this series af artworks as a ludic moment of reflection upon the ephemeral tangible reality, poised against the current socio-cultural backdrop. The works that preceded this approach have become pedestals for the metaphysical world of installations bearing new mysteries and new esoteric meanings.
The portraits wear seemingly random pieces on their heads, placed in a balance that indicates a time that has become static in the exaltation of the divine as opposed to the unfolding of action.”
