The selection includes paintings, drawings, and objects signed by Radu Băieș, Răzvan Boar, Arina Bican, Simion Cernica, Beatrice Duman, Camilia Filipov, Remus Grecu, Julia Haumont, Adéla Jánská, Genti Korini, Emma Păvăloaia, Alexandru Ranga, Nicolae Romanițan, Leonardo Silaghi, and Ioana Stanca.
“If spring is raw alchemy, art must be naked alchemy, understanding by this that Fifteen Shapes Of May aims to facilitate the viewer’s simultaneous assimilation of the two paradigms, challenging them to perceive and understand quickly the ideational differences between the classification of natural phenomena of the living world and the consistent fictional constructs, ideologically assumed as specific differences, born at the intersection between the artistic spirit and the represented reality of the sui generis World, sealed with a signature.
Fifteen Shapes Of May is composed within the logic of disordered and hyper-saturated mixtures, with the aim of highlighting the analogue processes between the frenzied transformations of the external natural world and how these are decoded, assimilated, and catalyzed in the artist’s soul.”(excerpt from curatorial text)
