Crama Oprișor presents at MNAC the exhibition of finalist artists in the Contemporary Drawing Contest

Now, in its third edition, the “Crama Oprișor Awards for Contemporary Drawing” competition is organised this year together with the National Museum of Contemporary Art of Romania, where the exhibition of the finalists was opened for the new MNAC 2024 exhibition season.

Dedicated to contemporary drawing and supporting young artists, students and graduates of higher art education institutions in Romania, the concept of the competition was initiated by Ciprian Paleologu in 2015—the first edition being held in 2016-2017, together with the National University of Arts in Bucharest, on the occasion of its 150th anniversary. The second edition was held in partnership with the University of Art and Design Cluj Napoca, and ran from 2021-2022. A novelty of the 2024 national edition is the Special Audience Award.

Artists (contest finalists): Maria Elisabeta Albu, Ioana Alecu, Denisa Angheluță, Simona Cîrlugea, Fernando Diaconu, Fabian Emoke, Alexandru Daniel Florea, Ada Jugănaru, Andrada Lolu, Bogdan Matei, Ciprian Memei, Adrian Piorescu, Ana Eudochia Pop, Bianca Rusu, Oana Sas, Oana Gabriela Sima.

The exhibition can be visited on the fourth floor, in the Auditorium hall, until September 29, 2024.
