Shortly after the end of the last edition, Art Safari reopens its doors on Friday, February 10.
Art lovers will be able to enjoy, in the old center of Bucharest, four new exhibitions that illustrate the art of the great Spanish masters, the Romanian village, French contemporary art awarded with the Prix Marcel Duchamp, and Romanian super contemporary art.
The nearly 6,000 square meters of art will host the following four exhibitions:
“Ion Theodorescu Sion. A life story”, curator Dr. Elena Olariu – anniversary exhibition marking 140 years since the birth of Ion Theodorescu-Sion, a prominent personality of Romanian interwar art;
“The Masters of Spanish Painting. The 19th century and the emergence of Impressionism”, curated by Dr. Helena Alonso, an exhibition that places in the center of attention the famous Spanish impressionist Joaquin Sorolla – “Master of Light” and Marià Fortuny, Catalan painter from Spain, internationally recognized;
“The Memory Palace. Focus on the French art scene with the Marcel Duchamp Prize”, curator Daria de Beauvais, assisted by Dr. Lisa Colin, exhibition in which we discover how the present brings together the broken links of the past. Prix Marcel Duchamp is one of the most prestigious awards in the world dedicated to artists, organized by the Association for the International Diffusion of French Art (ADIAF)
“Young Blood 2.0. What is new in art?”, curator Mihai Zgondoiu, an exhibition that illustrates the art of the moment, being a “refresh” for the contemporaneity of art.
In addition to the four permanent exhibitions, visitors will be greeted with a show of projections, installations, activations, mystery corners, but also with the well-known Night Tours.

The public can participate in this event from Thursday to Sunday, between 12:00-21:00, within the Dacia-Romania Palace in Lipscani street, no. 18-20.
