Alice Țeca’s exhibition, “A Journey”, can be visited in The Institute space at the Plastic Fund Complex until September 12, 2024, between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
“Sand lasts. It was shell, stone, it sparkled like a diamond desert, or it was pitiful and gray; it kept my track, but covered it when I looked back.
As my landscapes in the previous series were built around a momentary sensation that the light made to remain in the memory, here, the sand is the primary element that inspires my rather imaginary landscapes.
For me, sand is the material full of personality, docile or stubborn, silky or rough, always spectacular chromatically, with which I tried to make friends on this trip”, said Alice Țeca about the latest artistic approach presented at her exhibition at The Institute.
Alice Țeca (b. 1974, Bucharest) graduated from the National University of Arts Bucharest, Department of Painting, where she had Valeriu Mladin, Alexandru Chira and Marin Gherasim as teachers. She is a member of the Union of Visual Artists since 2017. Over time, she has had several personal and group exhibitions.
Address: The Institute, str. Băiculesti no. 29 (Combinatul Fondului Plastic, Bucharest). Entrance is free.
