Between September 30 and October 2, art galleries, alternative spaces, cultural centers, and artists’ studios open their doors for art lovers.

The White Night of Galleries/ NAG is the longest-running event dedicated to the creative community in Bucharest. Initiated and organized by the Ephemair Association, NAG has expanded at the national level with the tenth edition of 2016 and is currently organized within a national network of local NAG organizers in several cities in Romania.

The Ephemair NGO initiates and organizes cultural projects and actions in the field of contemporary arts aimed at developing the community of artists and cultural operators in the independent scene and assumes through its work the role of mediator of cultural content to the general public. The purpose of the activities carried out by the Ephemair NGO is to promote contemporary art in Romania at the local and international levels. The Ephemair Association also assumes social responsibility and educational roles toward young people to whom it facilitates access to the culture of their generation.

The projects within the Ephemair Association have contributed to strengthening the local cultural scene and consistently supported the cultural sector through events involving both public and private sector institutions. The ten-year activity of the Ephemair Association has gathered over 75 cultural programs, projects, and activities in its portfolio.
