RDW 2025: Design Tomorrow Today

Romanian Design Week, the multidisciplinary festival dedicated to the creative industries, takes place this year between May 16 and 25. This year’s edition takes shape under the theme Design Tomorrow Today, which celebrates the power of design to shape tomorrow and the ability of the creative community to evolve and adapt to a constantly changing reality.

Romanian Design Week is hosted in 3 spaces from the city center: the historic monument building in George Enescu Square, which hosted the CINA restaurant (10 Benjamin Franklin Street), Casa Fratelli (9 Episcopiei Street) and the National Museum of Art of Romania (49–53 Calea Victoriei).

At CINA (Str. Benjamin Franklin 10) access is by ticket. Admission is free for students, retirees and people with disabilities. The space officially opens to the general public on Friday, May 16, from 4:00 PM, and the visiting hours are Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

At the National Museum of Art of Romania (Calea Victoriei 49–53) the space officially opens to the general public on Friday, May 16, from 10:00 AM, access is by museum fee, and the visiting hours are Wednesday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday-Sunday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Casa Fratelli (Str. Episcopiei 9) officially opens to the general public on Saturday, May 17, at 12:00, and the visiting hours are Monday–Friday between 16:00–22:00 and Saturday–Sunday between 12:00–22:00. Admission is free.
