On Thursday, May 15, 2025, starting at 7:00 PM, the opening of the exhibition “The Room that Remembers, and then Forgets” takes place, curated by Medina Pop and commissioned by POINT.
“What happens when we curate without a thesis? What if the exhibition is not a statement, but a question that keeps unfolding, without resolution? In The Room that Remembers, and then Forgets, we return to the state of the exhibition as a space of encounter, of contingency, of friction and flow. There is no theme. There is no map. What remains is a kind of dérive—a meandering through objects, textures, gestures, proximities.
We don’t ask what does this mean, but how does this live together?
We don’t ask why was this chosen, but how does it make you pause?
This is an exhibition that remembers moments and forgets contexts. It is an exhibition that resists clarity—and in doing so, becomes radically open.”
