Exhibition Finissage “Crama Oprișor Prizes for Contemporary Drawing X MNAC. National Edition”

The closing of the exhibition “Crama Oprișor Prizes for Contemporary Drawing X MNAC. The National Edition” will take place on Wednesday, September 25, starting at 6 PM, at MNAC Bucharest.

Dedicated to contemporary drawing and supporting young artists, students, and graduates of higher artistic education institutions in Romania, the competition initiated by Ciprian Paleologu in 2015 — “Crama Oprișor Prizes for Contemporary Drawing”—has already had three editions. This year, the contest had a national character, being organized with the National Museum of Contemporary Art of Romania. The new wave’s best graphic designers were awarded and exhibited at MNAC.

The “Crama Oprișor Prizes for Contemporary Drawing” competition, now in its third edition, is a private sector initiative dedicated to contemporary drawing and supporting young artists. The winners of this year’s edition share their experience of participating in the competition in a video in which they talk about how they discovered in drawing both a form of expression and a medium for reflection on important themes in their lives, which combines the old and the new.

Entry to the event is free.

Access: The museum is located in the back wing of the Parliament Palace. The entrance is through Calea 13 Septembrie, entrance E1 (gate B3).
