Multispecies. An exploration of the relationship between nature, visual arts and ecology.

WASP Studios and “Gavrilă Simion” Eco-Museum Research Institute from Tulcea invite the public to the opening of the Multispecies exhibition within the TOWARDS FUTURE project, co-financed by the National Cultural Fund Administration.

The Multispecies exhibition will open on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 15:00, at Casa Avramide (Str. Progresului 32).

Artists: Maria Calotă, Floriama Cândea, Sergiu Chihaia, Ștefan Radu Crețu, Mălina Ionescu, Andreea Medar, Bogdan Mateiaș, Mălina Moncea, Maia Ștefana Oprea, Marilena Preda Sânc, Natalia Silaghi, Silvia Trăistaru.

Curators: Andreea Căpitănescu & Denisa Rad

The Multispecies exhibition will be presented for the first time at Casa Avramide, within the “Gavrilă Simion” Eco-Museum Research Institute, Tulcea. The mission of this space aligns with the objectives of the cultural project – Casa Avramide functioning as a space for capitalizing on eco-museum research. After extensive rehabilitation, this space fulfills its mission to educate and inspire the public through a modern exhibition vision where cultural heritage and ecological responsibility merge.

The Multispecies exhibition also provides the opportunity to disseminate artistic projects in various cities, strategically highlighting how eco-museum research and cultural initiatives can play a key role in educating and mobilizing the public to promote sustainability and increase ecological awareness.
